Don't wait till they know, stop the exposure...
Hey there!
Every other Wednesday, I share a Marketing Campaign example to help you get fresh and actionable ideas to sell more and grow your business.
Nirvana Water, the Nigerian table water brand celebrated Children’s Day with a campaign titled ''Lyrics of Innocence'. It aims to create awareness about protecting the innocence of children by stopping their exposure to explicit and vulgar lyrics in popular songs.
According to Nirvana Water, one in three Nigerian songs promote sex, substance abuse and violence. It believes that when children are constantly exposed to explicit lyrics, it can lead to aggression, risky sexual behaviour, and other anti-social behaviours.
Nirvana Water partnered with X3M Ideas, a Nigerian creative agency to highlight a common quality, it shares with children and that’s ‘purity/innocence.’ The campaign featured seven children who were asked to explain lyrics from popular songs.
